Ivans Oyster Bar and Grill, located on the West Pier of picturesque Howth Harbour, uniquely brings together the very freshest seafood with the highest quality organic meats and poultry. Its interiors combine natural wood and tile finishes with plenty of light, airy views over the bustling harbour.
Here's just a sampler of what to expect on the menu: fresh oysters and Fruit de Mer, oyster shots flavoured with Nam Jim, beetroot gazpacho, or a ponzu sauce. Under the appetizers you'll find Dublin Bay Prawns, Steamed Mussels and Smoked Irish Organic Salmon. While under the mains there is grilled Irish lobster, Black Sole, Fish & Chips and classic French Bouillabaisse. And for dessert, how about a selection of homemade sorbets and ice creams, fresh polenta cake or chocolate souflee. Don't forget the beautiful selection of Irish and French cheeses and be sure to check the blackboard for the daily specials.

Ivan's takes its name from Ivan Beshoff, the original founder of the company and grandfather of Alan Beshoff, the latest generation of the family to take the helm. "I wanted this link to our roots," Alan said, "because while we're entering new territory, we're also building on the accumulated knowledge of a family tradition. With us, it's never been just fish. It's a way of life. We're bringing that experience and ethos into Ivan's and Beshoff's the Market."
